Our careful selection of braiding, banding and insulating materials make our cable designs resistant to thermal stress.
Resistant to heat and cold
We use intelligent materials to combat temperature extremes, from up to + 95°C and down to a frigid -180°C. Cable jackets made of PUR will withstand practically any temperature. With the aid of pure nickel conductors, temperatures as high as 500°C are no problem. Quartz and silica taping makes electric cables flame-resistant and heat-resistant to over 1100°C.
Self-extinguishing
Adding chlorine, fluorine and bromine flame retardants ensures the cables are flame resistant and self-extinguishing. But since toxic substances might be released in the event of a fire, we can also recommend special halogen-free cables - CERAMOFLEX® cables, for example.
