Faster signals for fewer traffic jams
High-tech applications are using more and more fiber optic cables to transmit signals and control pulses. The advantage they have over traditional copper cables is that they have substantially faster data transmission rates and are resistant to interfering electromagnetic impulses. Hradil have developed a hybrid cable which incorporates fiber optics and which is used specifically in traffic control systems. The benefits are obvious: More road safety and fewer traffic jams.
